  The Competitive Exam Coaching Committee of Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy, in collaboration with Fortune IAS Academy, conducted a Civil Service Orientation Programme on 30 October 2025 (Thursday) at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall.     The session commenced with a welcome address delivered by Rishy N, Assistant Professor and Convenor of the Competitive Exam Coaching Committee. In his welcome note, he highlighted the relevance of Civil Service as a career option and emphasized the significance of early preparation for competitive examinations like UPSC. Mr. Anirudh Sasi, Resource Person from Fortune IAS Academy, led the orientation session. The Department of English organised an event titled "Laureates and Legacies" as part of the Nobel Week Celebration on 29 October 2025 at 11 am in the College Seminar Hall.      The programme commenced with a prayer by Adithya S.B. of II BA English, followed by the Welcome Speech by Janaki of I MA English. The Presidential Address was delivered by the College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Raakhee A.S. The session was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Manu Remakant, Head of the Department of English.   When it Rains with Tenzin Tsundue – A Window to International Poetry Department of English Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy The Department of English organised an Interactive Meet with International Writer and Activist Tenzin Tsundue titled “When it Rains with Tenzin Tsundue – A Window to International Poetry” on 15 October 2025 at 1:30 PM in the College Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Manu Remakant, Head of the Department of English. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Raakhee A S, Principal of the College.   GREEN INITIATIVE - TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN The 3(K) BN NCC Unit of S.N. College, Chempazhanthy organized a Tree Planting Campaign on October 21st, 2025, as part of its Green Initiative to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices within the campus.  The programme aimed to inspire students to contribute actively to ecological preservation and to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature .   The event began at 8:00 A.M. with an inaugural address by the Principal Prof (Dr) Raakhee A S, who emphasized the importance of tree planting as a meaningful step towards maintaining environmental balance. The ANO Lt. Dr. Giftson A W motivated the students and assisted in coordinating and supervising the activities.   All NCC cadets participated with great enthusiasm, planting a wide variety of saplings, including shade-giving and native species, in and around the campus.   CLEANLINESS DRIVE 2025 The 3(K) BN NCC unit of S.N. College, Chempazhanthy, under the guidance of the ANO Lt. Dr. Giftson A W, conducted a Cleanliness Drive on October 18th, 2025, as part of the Central Government’s “Go Green, Breathe Clean” initiative. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable waste management practices within the campus.   The programme commenced at 2:00 PM with an opening address by the Principal Prof (Dr) Raakhee A S, who emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Following this, the ANO briefed the cadets about the objectives of the drive and outlined the areas to be cleaned.   All NCC cadets actively participated in the event, demonstrating great enthusiasm and team spirit.   RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS (NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY) CELEBRATIONS, 2025 UNITY RUN The 3(K) Battalion NCC, Poojappura, Army Wing of S.N. College, Chempazhanthy organized a Unity Run on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on  October 31st at 8:00 AM . The event was conducted to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and to promote the message of national unity and integrity among the youth.   The event was inaugurated by the Principal of S.N. College, Chempazhanthy, Prof (Dr) Raakhee A S, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of unity in preserving the nation’s strength and diversity.
