INAUGURATION OF ANTI-RAGGING WEEK CELEBRATIONS 2025

The Anti-Ragging Cell organized the inaugural ceremony of Anti-Ragging Week Celebrations 2025 on 12th August 2025 in the college seminar hall. The programme was presided over by the Principal, Prof. Dr. Rakhee A S, and inaugurated by Prof. Manoj Krishna, retired faculty of Government Law Colleges, Trivandrum and Kozhikode, and currently teaching at Mar Gregorios College of Law.

The event began with a prayer by Arathy Anil, a second-year B.Sc. student, followed by the welcome address by Ms. Dhanya D S, Coordinator of the Anti-Ragging Cell. The Principal delivered the presidential address, after which the ceremonial lamp was lit by the Chief Guest. Prof. Manoj Krishna then gave the inaugural talk. Dr. Raji Raveendran, IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Aromal N R, College Union Chairman, offered felicitations. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Preethi.

In the next session, the resource person led an awareness programme highlighting the laws against ragging, their legal consequences, preventive measures, and the collective role of students in creating a respectful campus atmosphere. The active participation of students showed the success of the programme and the college’s commitment to maintaining a ragging-free environment.
