In accordance with directives from the Government of Kerala and the Higher Education Department, the Anti-Narcotic Club of Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy launched a comprehensive Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign during 01/06/2025 – 02/07/2025 , under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Raakhee A. S.

Convenor: Smt. Aiswarya A. S.

The campaign was designed to:

  • Sensitize students about the dangers of substance abuse.

The activities reached students across all batches—both senior and newly admitted—through engaging, educational, and participatory events. These efforts empowered students to become advocates of a drug-free campus culture.

Activity 1: Distribution of Anti-Drug Affidavits

Dr. Jinu S. Rajan, member of the Anti-Narcotic Club, formally handed over the affidavits to the students.

As an initiative to instill legal and moral responsibility, anti-drug affidavits were distributed to all newly admitted first-year students during admission. Students were asked to read, understand, and sign the affidavit, pledging their support for anti-drug policies of the college. This initiative was appreciated by both parents and staff for promoting accountability right from the beginning of the students’ academic journey.
