ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024-25

The Annual Sports Meet 2024–25 was held on 27th and 28th January 2025 with great excitement and active participation from students. The event was organized by the Department of Physical Education and featured energetic competitions between different departments.

The programme began with a welcome speech by Dr. Praveen R, Assistant Professor, followed by the presidential address by Dr. Sujith Prabhakar, Head of the Department of Physical Education. The meet was formally inaugurated by Dr. Rakhee A. S., Principal of the college.

Special guests, including Dr. Soju S (Senate Member, Kerala University), Dr. Premraj (Executive Member, S.N. Trust Board), Dr. Ambali Raj (IQAC Coordinator), and Sri Aromal N. R. (College Union Chairman), delivered felicitations and encouraged students to take part with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The competitions were held in a knockout format, and the main results were:

  • Volleyball (Men)

    • Winner: English Department

    • Runner-up: Economics Department

  • Cricket (Men)

    • Winner: Economics Department

    • Runner-up: English Department

The prize distribution ceremony honored the winners and runners-up for their achievements. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Kumari Malavika, Sports Club Secretary, who expressed gratitude to all guests, participants, and organizers.

The Sports Meet was a memorable event that encouraged teamwork, discipline, and the true spirit of sportsmanship among students.

SPECTRUM SEMINAR SERIES 2024-25 - DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

 The PG Department of Chemistry at Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy, successfully organized a seminar on the topic "Advanced Analytical Solutions for Scientific Management of Emerging Environmental Contaminants" as part of the Spectrum Seminar Series 2024-25 on 08 January 2025.
