76th Republic Day Celebration – 3(K) BN NCC, Army Wing, S. N. College, Chempazhanthy
The 3(K) BN NCC, Army Wing, of S. N. College, Chempazhanthy, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event saw the active participation of all cadets, under the leadership of ANO Lt. Dr. Giftson A. W.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a solemn Guard of Honour ceremony, where cadets showcased their discipline and dedication. A vibrant JDFS (Joint Defence Force Simulation) display captivated the audience, highlighting the strategic and tactical prowess of the cadets.
Adding an element of creativity and awareness, cadets performed a flash mob that energized the gathering, followed by a poster-making competition that visually depicted themes of patriotism, national unity, and civic responsibility. A special mime performance on road safety awareness was also staged, effectively conveying the importance of responsible driving and pedestrian safety through expressive theatrical gestures.
Beyond the college premises, cadets engaged with the local community, distributing Republic Day badges and fostering a spirit of national pride among the people. Through these interactions, they reinforced the values of democracy, unity, and patriotism, making the celebration not just an event but a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
