The R Sankar Memorial Spectrum Multi-Disciplinary Seminar
Series 2024-25 was inaugurated at Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy on 9
December 2024 with an insightful session on "Career Planning for UG
Students" at College Seminar Hall. The event aimed to guide undergraduate
students in making informed career choices and enhancing their academic and
professional growth.
The event commenced with a solemn prayer by Ms. Anu Jayapal,
Assistant Professor of English setting a spiritual and positive tone for the
proceedings.

Department of Economics)
Dr. Suchithra Devi welcomed the dignitaries, faculty, and students, emphasizing
the importance of career planning for undergraduate students and the
significance of the seminar series in fostering academic excellence.

In her presidential address, Prof. Dr. Raakhee A S highlighted the legacy of R
Sankar and the institution’s commitment to empowering students with quality
education and career guidance.
Prof. (Dr.) Jagathy Raj V P (Vice Chancellor, Sree Narayana
Guru Open University, Kollam)
Prof. Dr. Jagathy Raj formally inaugurated the seminar series and delivered a
keynote address on "Career Planning for UG Students." He provided
valuable insights into career opportunities, skill development, and the
evolving job market, inspiring students to set clear goals and take proactive
steps toward their future careers.
